## Recruitment Procedure and Requirements
Prospective candidates are required to complete the official online application form. Upon successful administrative review, qualified applicants will be invited to the UMS campus in Surakarta to undertake the Computer-Based English Proficiency Test and the Academic Potential Test (TPA). Please note that these assessments are conducted on weekdays (Monday–Friday) between 08:00 and 11:00 WIB. Applicants must arrive promptly, as late arrivals will not be accommodated for the three-hour testing session.
General Qualifications for Candidates
* Nationality and Faith: Must be an Indonesian citizen of the Islamic faith.
* Age Limits: Maximum 30 years for Master’s (S2) holders; maximum 40 years for Doctorate (S3) holders and Medical Specialists.
* Legal Standing: Must possess a clean criminal record, verified by an official Police Clearance Certificate (SKCK).
* Academic Achievement:
* Master’s Degree: Minimum GPA of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) with a study duration of no more than three years; undergraduate GPA must be at least 3.25 with a study duration of no more than five years.
* Doctoral Degree: Must have a minimum GPA of 3.50 for the Master’s degree and 3.25 for the Bachelor’s degree, supported by publications in reputable international journals.
* Language Proficiency: A valid TOEFL ITP score of 525, IELTS 5.5, or equivalent certification is required.
* Health and Integrity: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit and drug-free (verified by government hospital certificates). Applicants must not be bound by employment contracts at other institutions.

Candidates for specific programs, such as Islamic Religious Education or Al-Quran and Tafsir, are expected to demonstrate advanced competency in Arabic, English, and fundamental Islamic sciences, including Hadith and Ushul Fiqh. Furthermore, candidates in these departments are prioritized based on their memorization of the Quran (Hafiz status) and their active involvement in Muhammadiyah’s institutional development.
For technical roles, such as Software Engineering and Information Systems, we prioritize candidates with a strong research background in emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Network Security.
