## Career Opportunity: Production Operator
ExxonMobil is currently seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious professionals to join our operations team. As a Production Operator, you will be at the heart of our facility’s performance, ensuring that our infrastructure operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Your daily contributions will be vital to maintaining the integrity of our production systems and protecting our people and the environment. Key duties include:
* Operational Integrity: Manage production facilities within approved operating envelopes and strict adherence to established safety procedures.
* System Surveillance: Conduct routine daily site rounds, record critical parameters, and proactively report any anomalies to the Lead Operator or Control Room Operator.
* Emergency Response: Serve as a reliable member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), taking swift action to minimize risks to personnel, production, and the environment.
* Work Permit Management: Review work permit packages, conduct thorough Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and verify that all isolation and safety measures are in place before work commences.
* Equipment Maintenance: Perform systematic equipment isolation, draining, and purging for maintenance activities, ensuring safe reinstatement once tasks are completed.
* Safety Leadership: Actively participate in safety meetings, intervene when unsafe behaviors are observed, and uphold high standards of housekeeping within your designated area.
* Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels of essential chemicals, fuels, and gases, coordinating replenishment to prevent operational downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to professional growth within our organization:
1. Education: A minimum of an Associate Degree (Diploma D3) or equivalent, ideally supported by specialized technical training.
2. Experience: At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience in well operations, crude oil processing plants, or similar industrial production environments.
3. Communication: Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure clear coordination within the facility.
4. Core Competencies: A strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the integrity to operate in a high-stakes, safety-critical environment.
5. Technical Knowledge: A solid grasp of oil and gas processing workflows and a proven track record of adhering to rigorous safety certifications and competency assessments.
